Even though I love driving my stick shift, which gets high miles-per-gallon, my next car will be Electric, or Hybrid/Electric.

They’re quite happy for you to think this is all about a handful of super-elite monsters. Then it becomes a small, containable, limited issue. Rather than have anyone look to hard at the broken system that has been subverted to benefit a tiny elite minority who have become so obscenely rich and powerful they can do whatever they like. Including wars and genocide for profit & raping your kids with impunity.
Your institutions are hollow and toothless, a charade there to provide the semblance of justice and democracy. Stop believing that, with the right willpower, those institutions could be used to bring the elite to justice. They are there for the *benefit* of that same elite and to pacify you.
