Honestly, that would be the best case scenario. Trump would’ve never happened without the middles and fiscal conservatives supporting him, even if they didn’t really like doing it. Also, those same people keep voting for whichever lunatic wins the republican primary in their congressional and state house/senate seats. Until they start actually pushing the button for someone with a D next to their name, there is no incentive for the R’s to move back toward anything even remotely resembling normal democracy.
It keeps happening at the state level here in Texas. Plenty of people show up to Republican primaries and vote for the more potty trained person – but the lunatic is who wins, and instead of supporting the Democrat over the lunatic in the general, they vote for the person who was too crazy for them in the primary because they have the magic R next to their name. And in many cases, we’re talking about a pretty conservative D who has more in common with those voters than the person who won the primary. That’s how we end up with our frothing at the mouth batshit legislature despite being a fairly purple state.

Don’t kid yourself, with the infighting warming up for the elections, pressure in MAGALAND has gotten so that anyone who falls out of line is a heretic. And this week elements of MAGA in the white-supremacist quarter have decided they have had enough of Jews.
Ben Shapiro – to the absolute surprise of Ben Shapiro and absolutely nobody else; finds himself being outed at CPAC – where Steve Bannon, and a variety of others called on him to be deplatformed as part of the International Jewish Conspiracy that has infected MAGA.
So Ben was asked to speak first at CPAC and then everyone else got up at the same podium and railed on why he should be rounded up.
Good going Ben, (I suppose), for hanging in there as long as it was until they called for you personally to be sent to the nearest gas-chamber, I suspect he should do as Candice Owens does, and she no longer attends crowd events in person but will be happy to get on the big-screen on a zoom call ….from an undisclosed location.
