Hungary: 400 000 jews deported between 44′ may and july. We never looked back and faced those crimes like germany did. We just don’t really talk about that.

    3. Get this: Take a finger and point at any random country. Yup. They did a warcrime

I did a whole project about Yugoslavia, and one of the things in that project was WW2 Croatian occupation, and Croatia killed roughly 700,000 Serbians if my sources were correct.

      So yeah. Atrocities all over.

If you wanted to call a country out you should have thrown up Lithuania. Around 90% of their pre-war Jewish population was murdered, mostly by pogroms committed by the countries civilian population. The majority of Lithuanian Jews that survived the holocaust were the ones “lucky” enough to be put in ghettos and concentration camps. And it took until the last two decades for them to start coming to terms with it.

    7. No one talk about Croats that did more fucked up thingh than nazis in name of nazis

I think it’s cause Germany killed like 17 million Jews, Slavs, Communists, Roma, queer folks, and Jehovah’s witnesses, which makes the crimes of their allies look smaller cause again 17 million innocent men, women and children

    10. To be fair wasn’t Japan like its own war within the war in WW2?

They would never teach us about Hungarian crimes in polish schools, mostly because they helped the resistance and we have a long history of friendship. I hate history in school so many things get whitewashed, such as a very high antisemitism before the war and the persecution of Ukrainian and Belarusian minorities. Also there is this “prison” called Bereza Kartuska, I recommend reading about it, since this is a place where we persecuted minorities and sent political prisoners.

Italy is standing so still everybody forgets that they did horrible things too.

That and that their Officer Corps were highly incompetent
