I assume someone at the ad agency thought “half-quart” sounded like more than “pint’, or maybe they were afraid the latter word would make people think of alcohol.
I liked teem.
I don’t remember this one, we had Sun Drop here and a can of Jolly Good was a major treat! Soda was a rare thing in our home.
