Got a cool national park out of it. (Teddy Roosevelt National Park. Not to be confused with Badlands National Park, which is in South Dakota.)
My favorite Teddy Nodak lore is when the Maquis de Mores threatened him, and Teddy sent a letter emphasizing they were not enemies. I believe Roosevelt once said if he had to gunfight the marquis he would surely die
