I actually had a moment like this with one of my friends a few days ago.

I had just turned 20 (literally. It was Midnight) and everyone sent me happy birthday.

I was actually not really in a good spot mentally at that moment, and I was kinda thinking about if I was good for anything really, and if I really had a shot at anything.

This one friends suddenly told me to check my steam account. I had a $10 gift card with a message signed “Big Dicked Daddy”.
This is our normal sense of humor, and normally I’d just roll my eyes and reply thanks.

But for half a second the thought of replying “Tha k you Daddy” made me smile genuinely for like the first time that day.
It was like the first time I actually Opened up to any of my friends about how I felt, and I’m actually glad they signed it the way they did.

Tl:dr Friend giving me a gift card signed “Big Dicked Daddy” led me to opening up to them for the first time.
