Not the biggest fan of this Gov, but it’s exhausting when it’s either Israel, Russia, the EU, or “Muslims” secretly pulling the strings of power.

This isn’t a facepalm. Saying they’ve investigated themselves when they haven’t would be a lie.
The government isn’t obligated to act on those petitions, only consider them, and frankly that number of signatures is only just above the minimum needed for it to even be considered.
