I’ve never really understood the irrational bee hate, honestly. If you just don’t bother them even if they land on you, like OP, they won’t sting you. Just let them crawl around, they’re actually quite gentle 🙂

I had a bee land on my nose once, and I just had to stay completely still for around 10 seconds or so til he flew away. I love them so much lol.

I had an encounter with one today actually, it was the biggest fattest bee I’ve ever seen but it just kind hung out and stared at me, never getting too close. It was actually kind of nice after the initial creep factor

    3. Looks more like a carpenter bee. They are very large and noisy but basically harmless

this happened to me as a kid once and I had no choice but to lay down as to not disturb it until it woke up and flew away, I dont remember how long it was.

aw that’s adorable, bees are literally just tired all the time lol. I had one land on me last summer and just stayed there for like 20 mins, made me realize how chill they actually are if you don’t freak out

    6. If you’re in the states, Bombus occidentalis. If you’re in Europe, then probably Bombus terrestrial or lucorum

    7. I could never, even when a tiny micro insect walk on me i can immediately feel his individual tiny feets walking on my skin and they give me shivers i can’t control so i panic. As a kid i was the only one in my friend group who could kill mosquitoes before they could sting me so i was the only one without any bite at the end of the summer 😂

    8. I rescue bumblebees anytime I can at work. I’ve saved 2 last year. Unfortunately one was on it’s last stage of life, but I still tried to give it something sweet to eat before it passed.

The one that lived got placed on a flower I found near our pile of cardboard bales, and AFAIK it flew off later on after a few hours.

So I was walking with my friend when we found this little baby lying on her back, struggling in the middle of the road. My friend almost stepped on her. I picked her up to move her somewhere safer. That’s when she decided my hand was the perfect place to take a rest.
Don’t worry, I put her sleepy ass on a flower later.
