When you look at the top elites’ backgrounds, a lot of them either went to college or at least got into an elite institutions, even if they did drop out in the end. If you check boards and executive teams at large companies, the majority still have degrees, many from good schools. Its not like they didn’t go to college because they are too smart for it or didn’t want to be brainwashed by the librule.
This whole recent push of “you don’t need college just be a free thinker bro” is meant to keep you down. The people saying it are often the exception, not the rule. Rich families are still sending their kids to college because they know it builds networks.
Can you be successful without a degree? Yeah. But realistically, having a college degree helps you a lot in life, even if you don’t do anything with that degree.
