And his only comeback is that Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons. Which they didn’t have. Which he said he obliterated in a bombing raid last year. He wanted to play a tough guy on TV. Now he’s stuck.

It’s pretty wild. We usually will say a president can only take so much credit or blame for the economy and inflation. Like inflation got bad during COVID with the supply chain issues, but the rate of inflation was actually dropping. And here comes Trump and his tariffs and wars and is almost single-handedly causing inflation (with GOP complicity). And then there is the entire fight over interest rates he wants to lower which is certainly not going to help in the long term.
