That fucker in the top middle is so openly corrupt.

Buy a guy a personal bus, take him on a few vacations, and he’ll lie and vote on behalf of you in the highest court in the land FOREVER, and nobody can or will do ANYTHING about it!

You’ll most likely not be able to complete this without lots of gridlock, America, but you can expand the number of judges. For the sake your country’s future, do it before it’s too late.

      28th Amendment:

Article I: With the advice and consent of Congress, the President shall appoint federal judges to serve a term of 10 years

Article II: No person shall serve more than 1 term on the United States Supreme Court

6 good reasons to fill out a stupid bubble once every 4 years. Too hard for most Americans though.

All of the Supreme court members should be in this photo. Not because “both sides are the same” but because it’s fucking insane to get a role for life. It’s the opposite of democracy.

Crunch wrap supreme is more supreme than this Klan Kourt with their very own Clayton Bigsby.

It’s not just the conservatives that demonstrate that it shouldn’t be a lifetime appointment. They all think that they will live forever and don’t retire when they should. Look at what Justice Ginsberg gave us. She had known health problems yet stayed when there was an opportunity for a like minded nominee to be put on the court.

    8. As much good as RBG did her not stepping down before her passing really fucked everything up.

    9. If only people had taken this shit more seriously in 2024…

      ..or 2016……

      .. or 2004 ….

      .. or 2000… or…

    10. I wish the founding fathers didn’t run out of ink by the time they wrote down the guidelines for the Supreme Court. We could have used the extra guidance right about now.

Ah yeah, there is the heart of the corruption. Zero accountability.

I will not vote for a democrat in the primary that doesn’t say they will expand the court.

Also, yes, we need add term limits. No job should have a lifetime appointment, it’s absurd.

I wonder if Comey still thinks he was right to make that announcement about Hilary’s emails. We live in the most stupid timeline.

So much of our constitution was a mistake by assuming good faith, as well as worrying more about majorities overriding space states.

They wanted to free justices from political pressure but the easier solution would be long single terms, with no reappointments. Serve 10-20 years, and then go.

In Canada, we have an age limit of 75 for our Federal judges, Supreme Court Justices and Senators (sadly are appointed). Some provinces have age limits for provincial judges as well.

It was sad watching the ego of RBG ultimately backfire and hand Trump a Supreme Court justice.

I can also see why some of them shouldn’t have been appointed in the first damn place!

    18. Imagine any organization that has so much power and the members cannot be removed, it’s worse than a religious cult. And their members are all out of touch.

can you imagine given so much money you become racist against your own peoples

No elected political position should *ever* be allowed for LIFE.

The POTUS has a term limit, they all should.

It makes sure that change happens, be it good or bad, but it happens.

In situations like we’re in right now it would have been absolutely great had that rule existed.

Man be make it so the terms always shake up in the middle of a presidents term, and it could be 4 or 8 years or whatever but off set it so it falls mid term of a POTUS or whatever makes the most sense for equality and anti corruption

Trump just assembled a team, and figured out like any casino operator would do, is how to make the “house” win as much as possible, then targeted those things (like lifetime supreme court appointments) to try and lock those in so once (if) he got the presidency, it would allow him to operate unrestricted.

And then he would just bribe the rest or get them on his side somehow. Just like any mob “business” trained guy.

      And, here we are.
