The Cryin and Crazy videos with her and Alycia Silverstone definitely shaped my sexuality as a young girl.

Imagine being born a mildly attractive woman to a rich rock star. Life could be so easy

It’s so sad that almost 26 years have passed since the first Lord of the Rings film

90s babes just hit differently. Liv Tyler, Rachel Leigh Cook, Claire Forlani, the list goes on.

Liv was one of my huge Hollywood crushes in the 90’s.

Liv Tyler in That Thing You Do was the girl everyone wanted to go out with. Valued, caring and just so pretty.

You know, we all know who her dad is, but now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her mom!!!

I don’t know if I’m alone in this, but Liv Tyler never did it for me back in the 90s. She had a Bambi voice, she would act fragile and giggly, she had one eye that was always slightly crossed, it always felt too ridiculous to me. I never understood the whole “bad baby” thing that a lot of girls did in the 90s (prime example is pic #6).
BUT THEN…LOTR happened. She came out with this intense direct eye contact, perfect regal posture, and spoke with this deep ethereal voice that was so different people literally thought she was dubbed. If you didn’t live it, you can’t understand what a shock it was. It was like seeing another person.
It turns out her whole persona in the 90s was all an act. The voice, the demeanor, how she held herself, all of it was an affectation. None of it was real.

I like her more now that she has aged like a fine cognac in both looks and acting abilities 😍

How a pic of Old Liv Tyler in the 90s?

Wonder how her dad would’ve felt if someone was able to “get parental custody” of her from him?
