Being 45, it’s weird seeing half my generation falling into the idiocy and the other half refusing to fall into it. That said, I’m all for public shaming/calling folks out, because there’s not much left to do anymore.

I’m older GenX, and I’m with Mockler on this. I’ve watched his interactions with these people, and they are constantly responding to his informed opinions with ad hominen attacks based on his age.
This is an ongoing problem that has been haunting America for decades. The older generation just stubbornly refuses to give up the reins to a country that belongs more every day to younger people. And they keep trying to force reality into a worldview that was formed decades earlier, and is often archaic to the reality of today.
Our geriatric Congress is a symptom of that.
They get angry at people like Mockler because they see them as a threat to their power and remind them of their fading relevance and mortality.

Editing to add… I watched the clip. Adam was calm. Not distracted by tangential comments. Not attacking. Just insisting that Scott Jennings answer the question.
Scott prevaricated, avoided answering, and then attacked Adam for “getting in his face”… when in fact, Adam was just insisting on getting an answer that Scott was either unwilling or unable to give. No “in your face” finger wagging was involved. No dickery involved.
And I’m sorry… but Geraldo isn’t a source that I consider “credible” by any stretch.

The only person to throw insults and act aggressively in that exchange was Jennings, and he’s like that every time he opens his fetid maw. He disparaged Mockler’s age by saying he gets cranky if he’s up past his bedtime, and then leaned his face towards Mockler who never changed position and was using his hands to talk in front of him the same way and the same distance he had for the whole show. It was overtly clear to all that Jennings reacted to someone calling back to his own prior statements and asking for accountability and he freaked out like an unprofessional child.
And Geraldo… how the fuck is your lying scamming ass even still working? You are literally branded as the guy who pulled a big empty vault scam on the entirety of the television viewing public. I honestly thought your career faded away 30 years ago but you curled your mustache and I guess people think you’re a different person now? Rivera still being on TV is a bigger mystery than Capone’s vault ever could be.
