I feel like we should start attempting to kill fruit and vegetable plants so they start growing like weeds.
My tomato plants are placed in a bed of nutritious soil, fed plant food, have perfect sunlight, and if you forget to water them one day they’re like “AAAGGHHHH! I’LL JUST TURN BROWN AND FALL OVER NOW!”
Meanwhile I’m putting down weed n feed on my grass, digging up weeds, pulling them out of the ground on sight, and overnight one will pop up in the middle of a crack in the sidewalk saying “Yeah! It’s great here!”

I moved into a place once with fake grass, which I’d never had before, in the backyard. I thought: “this will be great. I won’t have to deal with this at all.”
For some reason, it was like 40% weeds as soon as spring hit. I don’t know if they just did a bad job applying the fake grass or if this is a normal feature? I’ll never do it again.
