    1. Has anybody figured out what it looks like when we take this to the full extreme? Who ends up coming out on top?

I’ve floated this theory elsewhere so I’ll drop in here too. When the president leaves this mortal coil before the end of this term (not wishing him harm, just observing his health) Vance will name a Trump offspring as VP and then the grift becomes a dynasty or a bastardisation of one.

    3. I don’t think a gerrymander war is healthy for our republic.

I get the “if it’s good for the goose it’s good for the gander argument”

But couldn’t it also be if it’s bad for the goose. It’s bad for the gander….

      I have never supported gerrymandering.

If we gonna sit on the side of history shall judge you…. Then shouldn’t we be on the right side?

I hate to see this. Blue my whole life and do not agree with anything the t admin says but this feels like dirty politics and a slippery slope.

In this game we all lose.

Democrats keep voting to end partisan Gerrymandering, the Republicans keep voting against it.

If your in a soccer match where the winner get to decide if shooting someone in a soccer match is legal and your opponent has guns on them, it would be pro shooting people to not bring guns.

Yes do it!. Fire with fire. Or you lose to the corrupt billionaire republican gerrymandering.

Its not gonna work out well for the dems I think. Also it’s not very ethical.

    8. They just need to update the seats.

Go back to the old system where no representative can cover more than 25k people or whatever it was.

Yes, that would give us thousands of representatives, but the spread would be more accurate. No, that can’t all fit in the capitol building. Oh noes, guess we better let them do remote work.

While we’re at it. Each state gets 1 senator for every 500k people. But that would take a constitutional change IIRC, so probably not gonna happen. Regardless, it’s stupid that Wyoming gets 2 senators with a population smaller than most mid-sized cities.

Eh, may as well as throw in ranked-choice voting and a popular vote for the president. 💁🏻‍♂️
