I feel like Jonestown has been so mythologized and memed on that it’s overshadowed how fucking insane this was. Over 900 people dead is crazy.

The truth is way more tragic.
That’s one thing that you don’t hear much about the Jonestown massacre, that most of the victims were of African Americans.
