This is absolutely NOT the early 80s.
Judd Apatow didn’t even start doing comedy until 1985.

Why is it that Alan Covert was/is only in Sandler movies?
Not all of his buddies I feel like he is the most transferable and genuinely talented in his own right and he is totally different from Sandler

Worked with Covert on a Sandler film. He was kind, funny (duh) and a pleasure to be around. He told stories about the old days during our location scouts. One of the best times I’ve had on a show.
