RDR2.
Please don’t hate me, I’ll explain: I did not play the original game. Kinda expected GTA in the wild west – crazy, concentrated fast-paced fun. But what I got was an hour long horse riding through the wilderness. And yet somehow if you kill a guy in a middle of nowhere – the hell breaks loose and every single cop (sherriff? lawbringer?) comes at you.

Red Dead Redemption 2.
I absolutely love Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption 1, there is just something about this game that just doesn’t mesh with me. I have tried starting it multiple times and always get as far as the part of the game that you have to break the idiot gang member out of prison and I just never go back.

That’s why i don’t trust randoms on reddit anymore, i’d rather watch someone playing the game on youtube

Elden Ring for me. I played Dark Souls games too and personally l think that the tight metroid level design was more suited.

Hollow knight. This game made me realize that I suck at metroidvania, which is so sad cause I wanted to play skong and Castlevania: SoTN

I feel like going into a game or a movie with high expectation ruins the experience. Makes you judge things too harshly and makes you view the game through a lens of critique instead of enjoyment

Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild. It’s a fun game don’t get me wrong, but it’s a game where weapons break, and so do shields. I could spend hours shield surfing but when i do I’d feel guilty because it causes a shield to break. I get why people love the game, and I’m many ways I like it, but I just never connected with it.

Cyberpunk 2077 for me. Tried it twice, always got to the same point and dipped. I’m tempted to try one final time next time I have nothing I want to play, and try and power through and see if it grabs me. But I probably won’t.

Cyberpunk for me. Tried to give it fair chance, I really did, but it’s just so boring to me. And I love RPGs. This game has everything I love about games but I’m not having fun playing it

Horizon Zero Dawn.
It’s beautiful, the Robots look stunning, and the combat felt fine but for whatever reason I just found it so boring. Tried to play it about 5 times always get about 5 hours in and then just get tired of it.
