    1. TikTok university really had me out here buying everything except what I actually needed. Expensive lesson to just go get the blood work done

    2. Just go to a doctor or do a TeleHealth visit… Everyone is trying to make money off of your ignorance on the Internet.

Advice doesnt mean you blindly listen/follow….

Should have done the tests when you thought you were low enough in something to have sought out the advice in the first place.

      Get off TikTok

Everybody is giving OP shit, but these are all real supplements that are actually good for you. Unless you’re taking a ton or buying from some sketchy website, these will still make some (probably unnoticeable) difference.

    5. Half of the electrolyte mixes on the market are just overpriced salt 🤦‍♂️ what ya really need is more potassium

I mean the only real supplements I take is beef liver and some mushroom complexes.

      Creatine when I workout.

I feel good on the beef liver and whenever I figure out how to make it tasty enough to eat I’ll stop taking the pills.

    7. Man, I fully understand and sympathize with your doctor struggles. I’ve seen *plenty* of women (it’s almost always women) have their shit ignored and/or misdiagnosed for *years* by doctors who simply refused to take them seriously.

But you have to remember what Tiktok *is*. Tiktok is a data harvesting and advertising platform, powered by user engagement, and as a bonus, unimportant secondary side feature users can also watch videos.

It’s NOT DESIGNED to help you find information. It’s designed to rack up views, shares, and clicks. Nothing more, nothing less.

    8. Think about it if you weren’t taking it then it would actually be what you need

    9. You can’t get an accurate magnesium reading from a blood test because 1% of it is found in blood, most is stored in bones and cells.

    10. Here’s some advice from Reddit. Go donate blood. Besides the obvious benefit of doing good for society, they report back on the state of your blood and let you know if something is off. That’s how i found out i have an iron deficiency.

Also, you get biscuits when you’re done.

Trust doctors instead of random people on the internet? Congrats on your newly found brain!

    12. Maybe don’t take medical advice from the Internet😭

Most supplements are unnecessary. Talk to a doctor.

    13. went down those rabbit holes, went down much deeper ones. the only thing you need is vitamin d. it’s the only supplement which actually makes you feel better. get blood work which shows vitamin d levels, I have a few friends who were very depressed and it turned out they had very low vitamin d levels.

not to say I’m not depressed but it’s oil for the gears for sure lmao
