I got banned twice last week on a 13 year old account. Their filters are very trigger happy now. I successfully appealed both bans and the permaban that came with it because I really wasn’t breaking any rules.

My account got a strike when I suggested that I’d like it if bigots who harm children were to encounter a personal, karma-induced natural disaster. The strike was for “threatening violence”.
I appealed on the ground that any human being would recognize my statement as hyperbole and also that no human can threaten someone with a natural disaster. The AI didn’t like that and libeled me in its response.

I got banned recently for “threatening violence” when I suggested we should bring back the stocks to publicly humiliate certain offenders. Ban was upheld upon appeal. But I see much worse all over Reddit every day that stays up, so who knows how Reddits moderation works anymore.
