I mean it makes sense to basically say “I don’t necessarily disagree with the nicene creed but dispure the council that wrote it as a religious authority”
Creeds are a creation of the Roman Empire and have, in a sense, only divided the church. The Nicene Creed only exists because of Emperor Constantine. Getting rid of Creeds can be seen as removing the “Roman” elements of Christianity so to speak.
