In Setenil de las Bodegas, in southern Spain, streets pass beneath giant rock overhangs and some homes are built straight into the gorge itself. The stone acts like a roof, which makes the place look unreal in photos and completely practical in person.
What makes it stick is the logic of it. Instead of forcing the landscape to move, the town adapted to it, using shade, shelter, and the shape of the cliff as part of daily life. Centuries later, it still feels smarter than plenty of newer construction.

What if the rocks fall?

Big NOPE here. I’ve seen what just a big tree falling on a house can do. A mountain falling on a house would probably be a little worse…

Too stressful. My heart will likely give out before reaching the other side.

At least for me, I had no idea such a place existed.
