According to historical legend, in 48 BC, Cleopatra needed to meet with Julius Caesar to secure an alliance against her brother, Ptolemy XIII, who had exiled her. To sneak past her brother’s guards, she supposedly had herself rolled up in a carpet (or a bedsack) and delivered directly to Caesar’s quarters.
Meanwhile, Brutus had just fought against Caesar in a civil war, having allied with Pompey. At the decisive Battle of Pharsalus in 48 BC, Caesar specifically ordered his officers not to harm Brutus. After Pompey’s defeat, Brutus fled but soon wrote asking for a pardon. Caesar granted it and welcomed him into his inner circle.

It’s a really nice animation style, for whoever did it.
Is this animator the guy that does animal facts?
Unfortunately, Cleopatra wasn’t black, or even slightly dark skinned …
