For those of you not familiar with the UK and the state of afairs here, it was St. George's day (the patron saint of england) recently. St George's Cross is the name of the red cross on the English flag. St. Andrew, on the other hand, is the patron saint of Scotland and historically speaking, the Scotts and the English haven't exactly been the closest of allies.
In addition to that, there is a movement in the UK that's very similar to MAGA in the US where people put the St George's Cross up all over the place as a sort of protest against immigration; they say they are being patriotic, but its hard to see it as anything other than thinly veiled racism.
The facepalm is the irony of the English flag being plastered over a building named after the Scottish saint, but the inference of the anti-immigration is quite facepalmy in its own right

The Scots and the English are pretty close geographically…. Small wall, bit of a field etc
Swan and paedo?
St Andrew is also, a tad ironically, the patron Saint of Russia.
The Irish i think a lot genuinley hate us, where as I like to think with the Scots and Welsh its mostly banter and your average scot or welshman has no qualms with the your average englishman as long as they aren’t a disrespectful pieces of shit.
There is no irony here.
So for you being against mass immigration equals to being racist ?
As always it should be pointed out that Andrew was born in what would now be Israel and George was born in modern day Turkey and they are celebrating the cultures that would now be considered immigrants if they came into the country.
Oh oh people are celebrating there meagre existence better get on social media and complain
I think you spend too much time thinking about “mass immigration” because nothing in the photo is about any of that.
