A farmwife tests out a new Farmall tractor for her family and speaks with company salesmen, circa early 1940s. Exact location unknown, but possibly Wisconsin.

Farmalls were such durable, versatile tractors. Growing up on a farm in the 80s (not a great decade for American farms), there were still loads of Farmalls in use on the small farms in the Ozarks.

Good for her. I’d put money on her making the farm her family’s business. True inspiration.
