For most of the ones listed ppl know when they eat/drink/use those and can do so in moderation. Meanwhile sugar? It’s being added in crazy amounts to almost every food ppl consider normal and a lot of those that ppl consider healthy (lol musli lol). Like we don’t need our ketchup to be 90% sugar dude

    2. That’s literally all my coworkers and then I buy one energy drink and they act like I’m dying next week becouse of sugar…you buy sugar free one and they act like it’s 10 times worse

Everything is just about the right balance. Sugar only makes you fat if you eat overexaggerated amounts.

When growing up, there were a lot of older people who regularly smoke and drink, but the moment a kid drinks a cola, they completely lose their shit 🤔

Sugar is literally more of an addictive substance but probably not as bad for you as quickly as the others.

    6. “Why am I not losing weight? I’ve been dieting!”
*drinks 3000 extra calories on the weekend*

To be fair a high sugar diet will generally kill you more than all of those except alcohol ( depending on how much you drink)

High sugar diets are dangerous they open up a lot of other diseases and lower quality of life.

I’m not advocating for any of these they all are bad for your health.

Caffeine and nicotine are beneficial in moderation and with good delivery methods (not smoking tobacco). This meme is dumb.

My co-workers that are arguably alcoholics and about 100lbs overweight will tell me the sugar free monster I’m drinking is bad for me.

It’s not that sugar bad, it’s just sugar makes me sleepy. Can’t be sleepy when doing 90% of stuff required by life. Am already fat, sugar has literally zero benefits to me mentally and physically.

Why do I want a caffeinated drink just to suffer from a sugar crash?

Haha that’s literally me. I don’t call sugar poison though. I just don’t like sweet things

It’s just “pick your poison” kind of thing in the end really. My friend throw this argument at me once for not eating potatoes that had sprouted but I do smoke, because I’ve heard you shouldn’t eat those, like yea sorry but it’s my right to decide where I want to risk cancer or whatever, it’s not your place to tell me what I poison myself with and what not, and even if I poison myself with one thing does not mean I should poison myself with everything, so just shut the fuck up lol.

    13. I mean… fructose in particular is the ultimate poison, because they add it to all those other poisons to make them more addictive and easier to consume in large quantities.

Its like the old heads to shit talk energy drinks saying “I don’t do energy drinks”. Then slam 5hr energy and they can’t lift the veil and acknowledge its also a energy drink.
