I remember reading (well…) an interview with her when I was in around 8th grade – it was one of those tacky shitty mags like maxim or FHM. She said what she’s about to do (become a movie star) and well. She did it! Cool person she is!

I saw a clip yesterday of an interview with her where she described how her mom killed her dad in self-defense when Charlize was maybe 16 or so? Harrowing story.
Unrelated, she’s one of the best to ever do it. Fury Road remains a top cinematic experience.
