Well I did post this over five years ago so technically a repost but still new to many others. In that post u/notbob1959 added a relevant comment about the misconception of a photo booth source:
Unless this is much later than 1910 these were not made in a photo booth. They were probably [“ping pong” photos](https://griffonagedotcom.wordpress.com/2017/12/23/ping-pong-photos-an-introduction/) made by a photographer using a “ping pong” camera which had a sliding frame that ping-ponged back and forth and allowed the photographer to quickly and easily take multiple images on a single plate with their number, spacing, and placement controlled by detachable rods.”
