I have been at the same factory for 21 years, last year for my 20th anniversary they gave me an invitation to a dinner that is an hour drive away from my house and a tour of one of our sister companies. I declined because I don’t want to spend one of my days off watching someone else work.

Because she knows that management is only out for themselves, and the cake is a day old.

That’s a “I cannot perform for you” face. Misery reeks from every pore. A lot of people struggling to make ends meet do what must be done to get by.

No raise but one of the cheap cakes that’s probably close to expiration so they decided to just give it to her

I am just shocked their medical plan didn’t take her out before the 10 year mark. I’ve known a couple people who worked for Walmart and literally had nothing covered by their medical plan/were overworked until they passed. Feels like every old lady I’ve ever known who worked for Grocery stores got Cancer

We are giving you a $0.04 cent raise. But due to the penny being discontinued we will round that down to $0.00.
