That’s the look of realizing “that job I took to fill in between jobs has accidentally become my permanent job.”

When you realize that you just wanted to work as a part time job, but ended up working for 10 years

    3. I have been at the same factory for 21 years, last year for my 20th anniversary they gave me an invitation to a dinner that is an hour drive away from my house and a tour of one of our sister companies. I declined because I don’t want to spend one of my days off watching someone else work.

That’s a “I cannot perform for you” face. Misery reeks from every pore. A lot of people struggling to make ends meet do what must be done to get by.

“You’ve been with us for 15 years! You’ve generated a thousands of dollars in revenue! Here’s a slice of pizza.”

    11. I am just shocked their medical plan didn’t take her out before the 10 year mark. I’ve known a couple people who worked for Walmart and literally had nothing covered by their medical plan/were overworked until they passed. Feels like every old lady I’ve ever known who worked for Grocery stores got Cancer

I work for a large corporation and just hit my 10 years anniversary this week. I was congratulated in an email…

We are giving you a $0.04 cent raise. But due to the penny being discontinued we will round that down to $0.00.

      Congratulations!
