same its like I’ve hit peak adulting when “no parking” means “Netflix and pajamas” instead of a fun night out! 😂

If the parking is not within 50 meters the event clearly was not meant for me.

If my wife ever gets to know this is the reason I cancel plans……

If I have to circle the block twice, the event is officially cancelled.

Never happens to me because I don’t have a car 😀

Agree.
Went to a concert and instantly loved the arena because there were plenty of parking spaces…

Am I older or younger than this age if the idea of not finding parking for an event causes me to not even leave the house?
SweetBumbleBeeHoney on
I mean, it makes me not do anything. The parking situation in Austin is HORRID!

the fact that the shadow in the background is more productive than me is the real personal attack here.

Even the thought of the parking problem will keep me home.

my last two brain cells at 3am trying to decide if i should eat a whole block of cheese or finally start that assignment due in 4 hours.

Not really. Most events that would need massive parking are things I’ve paid decent money for and I’m not losing money over parking.

100%. That’s why I almost never shop at the local Walmart or the new grocery store. Parking lots are always full.

I usually take public transport. If I have to drive then I find parking a little away and walk to the venue
And yes I’m old

This is why we need better public transportation.

Glad to be in a country with great public transport so I don’t ever need a car anymore

I’m at an age where thinking about finding a parking space is all I need to stay home.

If I have to circle more than twice, it’s a sign from the universe to go home.

I cant find a spot, so I should leave/I already drove this far, might as well stay.

Yup. Wanted to attend a farmer’s market with a coworker, didn’t know it wasn’t some more open place and was more in the middle of a down town area with a bunch of alley and one way streets. Very crowded, no parking, and everyone in SUV’s and Trucks that can’t fit well.
Went home.

I’m at an age where just the thought of having to wait in line to pay for an entrance ticket or to eat at a restaurant makes me want to stay home.
