Weren’t the Muslim kingdoms actively pushing further and further into Europe? I seem to remember a whole 700 years of Christian, Jewish, and Zoroastrian majority int he region before Islam showed up. All up through the levant and into Syria and on to Anatolia, all Christian lands.
What religion do people think everybody from Arabia to the Bosphorous were between 1 AD-698 AD? Fuckin’, *Jewish*?
