This was a good episode, there was a wadrobe malfunction and Will beat up the entitled wheelchair kid. I miss the inbetweeners.

    2. The point is she wants someone with his personal traits that she is physically attracted to. That’s fine!

Being nice and fun is not a license to date someone.

Been there brother, this meme basically sums up my entire dating experience in one image.

    4. Having heard this in person, it ticks me off when people say it doesn’t happen.

She thought of me as a friend, I didn’t meet unspoken boyfriend criteria, and that’s not her fault, but it’s not a great way to tell a fellow teenager.

It’s like getting all the questions right, except for the ones written in invisible ink.

This is why you confess you feelings as soon as you recognize them. That way if their not reciprocated you can heal and move on to someone who wants your love like that.

    6. Always better to hear the truth about not being attractive enough than to hear a weak excuse such as “I wish I could find someone like you” that way we both can have a laugh.

Another way you can take it is that if she genuinely wants to be friends then be her friend. Though I don’t know if it’ll work out in the long run since you had feelings for them

    8. I’ve never seen this show or these actors, but somehow I knew they were English. I don’t know what that says about me or them or English people in general, but I feel like I’m insulting *someone* with that assumption.

    9. All she wants is a roller coaster riding, frisbee playing, briefcase wanker, with a fit mum that…but not him.

    10. Been on the recieving end of that

      >Not YOU obviously

before. There’s no way to take it other than I’m a train wreck not deserving of love, despite my redeeming traits. Or I’m an alien or something that’s beyond comprehension and companionship.

Happened IRL when somebody commented under a posted photo of Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin) “I’d like to meet this guy!” So Plant responds to the comment “Hello!” and the commenter says, “not you”. And he replies “I am literally the guy in the photo.” But of course, 50 years older…
(paraphrased, my memory of this may be inexact)

    12. I learned a lot from a little movie called Not Another Teen Movie. I quote:

      “Shes not attracted to you!”

“Ah, you’ll never be more than a friend!”

If you’re ok with being friends that’s great. If you have unreciprocated feelings you really need to evaluate the friendship. Hanging around her and doing every little fun friendly activity and being there for her when she gets her heart broken for the 10th time by a guy who “isn’t like you” will only make a friendship stronger, not develop a relationship. My advice. Stay friends but open yourself up to dating other people. If you do start dating someone let her know. If its a good relationship let her know. Not in a mean way but if shes really your friend she will be happy for you.

    13. I hate when women do this. “I want someone like you” then why not me? “You’ll make a lucky girl really happy one day.” Why not you?

    14. “You’re like a brother to me” -Girl I had a crush on.

….Thanks- let me just die in the corner over here now …

This might be unrelated, but I remember when Marvel was casting the new Fantastic Four (2025) and for Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, they were looking for the “Zac Efron-type”.

At the time, the fans were pretty much on board with Marvel casting Zac Efron himself, but they ultimately went with Joe Quinn, which was very good casting indeed.

    16. What they really mean is they want someone with your personality but rich and better looking.
