When I attended Arkansas Girls State, there was a beauty queen who woke up extra early every morning to do full glam hair and makeup before we spent a sweaty day learning about and role-playing local politics. She liked to play with and pick out the deodorant balls from her boyfriend’s armpit hair. I ate a frozen Snickers bar in bed after lunch every day while watching The OC on my portable DVD player.
