How many companies could swing that? Like are there 800 companies in the US that had more than $5B in profits (not just revenue).
I guess all the Fortune 500 companies could be a start?
Edit- Internet says the 500th company on the Fortune 500 is Vulcan Materials and they had just over $7B in total revenue in 2025. No way they could write a check for $5B.

800 companies? There’s that many companies that can afford that kind of check and still pay their employees over 15 dollars an hour and not increase the cost of their service or goods to the consumer?
I’d like to see a comprehensive list of at least 100 companies that can do that.

As a local from Omaha, this man is not well received anymore in the local community. Yes, he is the world’s best investor, yes he brings some national spotlight to Omaha, but this dude could help out in the Omaha community wayyyy more than he does, especially on the North/South sides of Omaha…but yet a $10,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club of Omaha makes him a savior. 10K is Pennie’s to him

It doesn’t happen because for every one Warren Buffet there are ten Elon Musks. For every one genuine patriot there are ten government welfare sucking vampires. They won’t allow it to happen.
