This is why I never try to start. Just when things are looking good for ol’ Gil.

    2. Imagine everyone cheering louder but its for the guy behind you 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    3. I can’t imagine how the shirtless guy actually feels lol, he’s probably fucking pissed

Some say Joshua Jackson won the race, but we all know the real hero is that man hollering and providing the commentary in the background.

    5. I had to come back with an observation. Based on the unique finish line marker, a strip of sand to indicate winner, I call the participant in black shirt the winner. It is the first time I ever noticed that used to mark the finish line. Its a great idea because it works better than tape. It doesn’t break off and the sand may splash but it remains. It also creates an individual visible splash for each racer which would not be possible with tape.

Dog being a few feet away from winnning only to have a dude hawk you down has to be a life changing stomach drop.

I have to see this from another angle lmao

I have so many questions lmao

    7. I’m super impressed that one guy sprinted that hard after already running over 26 miles. He earned that win.

As an elder millennial, this isn’t the Joshua Jackson I was thinking. I’ll go back to knitting and gardening…

    10. I’m ashamed to say that the level of shadenfreude I’m getting off of this is absolutely off the charts!

    11. Lol you’d think by now, with all the video proof of why you shouldn’t celebrate too early, that athletes wouldn’t do it… nope 😂

I feel SUPER bad for the almost winner. I mean, it’s totally his own fault but who the hell would have expected such a sprint?

It must feel amazing to be that winner though.
