    1. The amount of people willing to turn an unlucky event into a federal charge is unreal man.

    2. Why won’t she do it from the other side ?? That way she won’t have to get drenched.

First time i get it ..you didn’t think fully through but the second time 😅

So she knew it was a temporary one year contract and *still* came unglued? …wow

And then loses a lawsuit that then requires all of her future earnings to go towards paying back that company, leaving her destitute forever (after prison of course).

The company has insurance for this, and the insurance company will sue the lady. So she really didn’t accomplish anything except get herself in a whole lot of trouble.

    6. This is why employees get escorted out immediately when they are no longer employees.

I think that counts as execution on-sight in France. They just wheel out the guillotine from the storage shed and off with her head.

A little history about this from the Internet: The incident shown in the video (and widely shared from a Daily Mail post and other sources) occurred at the Cepa 21 winery in Castrillo de Duero, Valladolid province, Spain.

It happened in the early morning hours of February 18, 2024 (around 3:34 a.m., per surveillance footage timestamps mentioned in reports). A person (described as a hooded woman in the video) entered the facility, opened valves on multiple large stainless steel tanks, and deliberately drained approximately 60,000 liters (about 15,850 gallons) of premium 2023 vintage red wine including high end varieties like Horcajo and Malabrigo onto the floor. The estimated loss was around 2.5 million euros (roughly 2.7 million dollars at the time), affecting bulk wine, production, and cleanup costs.

The woman was a temporary (seasonal/contract) worker at the winery whose short term contract had recently ended or not been renewed (reports vary between “fired,” “dismissed,” or “contract not renewed”). She knew the layout well, which helped her bypass security and target the tanks quickly. Authorities believe it was an act of revenge. Surveillance footage captured her actions clearly.

Spanish police (Guardia Civil) identified and arrested her in late June 2024. She was released on bail pending trial and has not been publicly named in most English language or mainstream reports (Spanish media may have used her initials or limited details due to legal norms). No further public updates on a conviction appear in recent coverage.

Judging by her opening of the valve and immediately running through the wine, I can see why she wasn’t kept on.

With the increasing financial divide between the working class and the capitalist, and growing dissatisfaction with stagnating wages, I expect we’ll be seeing more of this in the future.

More recently, there’s the incident were the warehouse worker set the warehouse full of TP on fire and burnt it to the ground.

I worked on the bottling line on a winery when I was around 27 years old. Needless to say my backpack would be loud and heavy with all the bottles of ” rejects” I would need to take home for “assessment”.

The hundreds of poor farmers who worked very hard to grow the grapes and handed them over to the company to make wine, and were probably expecting their wine to be returned to them, plus some extra money from the part that the company would sell… It just makes me sad, man 😥

And before anyone says anything, this happened in Spain. I live in Portugal, right beside Spain. My grandpa grows grapes to make wine. The company is going bankrupt, and many farmers are already losing a lot of money. Imagine if the company simply *lost* the entire wine…

Fun factor removing alcohol as a waste product requires hazmat clean up. An act like this leaves her her liable for the lost product lost productivity of the plant and the hazmat waste removal needless to say she ain’t got to worry about a job anymore her as is going to prison
