Context: In 1922, archaeologists discovered a clay tablet in the ruins of Ur. When translated, it turned out to be a letter from a man named Nanni to a merchant named Ea nasir. Nanni was absolutely furious because Ea nasir had promised him high quality copper ingots but delivered substandard, low grade copper instead. They also found dozens of other complaint tablets in Ea nasir’s house from other angry customers. He was apparently a serial "scammer" of the Bronze Age.

I actually looked it up, and the best part is that archaeologists found dozens of these complaint tablets in Ea-nasir’s own house. The man literally kept a trophy room of his own 1-star reviews. Absolute legend.

    2. The statue isn’t even of him, it’s just some random ancient guy that the internet decided to use to represent ea Nasir.
