Can anyone explain to me why there are a lot of anti-Turkish rhetoric here in this sub? The Ottoman Caliphate is long dead. I am starting to suspect unsavoury politics from this sub.
Edit:
Some individuals made it their identity to hate on the Ottoman Empire. You all can search ‘Ottoman’ in the search engine of this sub and see for yourself. I am not going to doubt the evidence of eyesight.

In reality the Ottoman army contained thousands of Tatars, Wallachians, Moldavians, Transylvanians, and Magyars.
A fair number of those troops were Christians, because Catholics at the time had a habit of being not-very-nice to non-Catholics. But of course this doesn’t fit within the Europe vs Islam narrative.
