Oh, the episode where Echidna tries to convince him that he creates a new timeline each time he dies, and shows him all the damage and pain he leaves behind when he resets by abandoning his friends for better outcomes. That was some mind-breaking shit.

The thing that i am 90% going to do is ditch everyone and live far away from any problems and reasons that could cause me to die, so RBD will really only become an automatic cheat code in case i fuck something up and end up dying.

The thing is. His suffering is entirely optional and largely self inflicted. You could just ignore Emilia’s existence and lead a normal life. Call for help during the attack in the alleyway, then when Reinhard appears explain that you were forcefully brought to this world and ask for help. Meanwhile the assassin gets rid of two royal candidates and indefinitely postpones all subsequent events of the original plot.

I know i wouldn’t like to change places with subaru because i would’ve lost it somwhere in the first few episodes.
So many Situation in this Anime really piss me off. Which considering i’m only a viewer isn’t bad but as i said, were it me i would’ve been lost to darkness a long time ago and at the very least after the Scene with the bunny’s.

Some details left outside the anime is that Subaru still FEELS for a few seconds the pain after coming back with Return by Death.
That’s why the man was about to lose it after being eating alive by Rabbits. God that episode was horrifying.
