All these thoughts and words from people who’ve never left their home towns.
Most Americans are more focused on their own country than the turmoils of Europe
The level of delusion is off the charts with these people.
Do Americans really think they’re funding the whole world? And how do they manage to link that to the trade surplus nearly every country has, and therefore had to been taxed?
So I understand the argument correctly – Europe hasn’t had to put money towards defense spending because the U.S’s military hegemony has acted as a deterrent since World War II. Now that the hegemony is being a) voluntarily forfeited by withdrawing the U.S from Nato, and b) Hegemony has shown to be a sham with the ineffectiveness of the U.S in Iran, the EU will need to divert funds from social services, paid leave, maternal leave, Universal Free healthcare towards defense spending.

These people probably never left their state, let alone the country.
I mean if America leaves NATO I would still have the same benefits as before? I live in a rich country (the people aren’t rich mind you it’s the country itself) but even then the us is not paying for my benefits lmao?
If America paid the benefits for every country apart of EU, why in the world would they not prioritize themselves?
