    1. For fifty dollars I should be allowed to pause the movie until they finish their conversation.

I have an uncanny talent for sitting in front of people that rattle plastic they whole movie.

Movie tickets are like 15 bucks at most where the fuck are you spending 50 dollars on going to the movies

At that point, you might as well ask for a refund (or throw hands)

    5. I once had a group of friends sitting right behind me, they kept talking, laughing and even arguing and throwing popcorn at eachother for half the film, several people just got up and left from our row and I had to switch seats at the end of it and watched the entire film at an angle. Also when people were leaving they kept pointing fingers and laughing.

    6. But its their culture to talk through the movie and ruin the experience for everyone! You bigot! /s

    7. I haven’t been in a movie theater since 2014.
The prices and the people, mostly the latter, are what drove me away entirely.

Had to raise my voice at a couple with their baby once. Not a toddler. A baby. I sat through at least half the movie before speaking up about it. I don’t mind people bringing young kids to movies. I don’t even mind when they say a few words or whisper a question to their parents every so often. Don’t bring your fucking baby to a movie theater.

    9. I live in a small town to where there is like 10 people max in the theater so in that case how about not choosing the seats beside us and choose one of the other 10 empty rows

this is literally my worst nightmare 😭 I remember going to the movies with my ex and he spent half the time whispering commentary like we were at home… I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to ruin the vibe, but I swear I was more focused on him than the movie the whole time… kinda made me realize how much little things like that actually matter to me lol

this is my biggest pet peeve 😭 i remember shushing someone once and then feeling awkward for the rest of the movie… like why am i the one stressed when they’re the ones talking lol

    13. I rarely go to movies anymore for this very reason. People suck and it’s not worth it.

Me: I paid 50 dollars for movie.
      Them: talking, talking, talking.
My brain: okay… we go to villain mode now 😃🍿

Its so lame, if I wanna let someone know something I just lean in and whisper, I don’t wanna ruin experience by TALKING OUT LOUD.

I love going to the theater, but for how much it costs I’m not letting anyone ruin my experience.

Went to see a movie last year where the guy sitting 2 seats down was chewing loudly with his mouth open. Dude ordered popcorn, M&Ms, and some kind of sandwich. And was smacking and crunching so loudly. Was even eating the ice out of his drink.

I could only take like 20 minutes of this before leaving and requesting a refund. The theater was really cool about it and gave me a free pass on top of the refund. But yeah, fuck that dude.

This will make me sound old and I’m alright with that. The newer generations, perhaps not actually their fault, have absolutely no idea how to behave in movie theatres or really anywhere requiring quiet and no phones.

I haven’t been to see a movie in 6 years because honestly it’s just not worth it

    18. If they do that I’ll lean over and join in on their conversation until they get the message to shut up
