From the markings on the plumage, that is most likely a harpy/Phillipines eagle. They are one of the largest eagles in the world and one of their main food sources are mid sized monkeys that they are fully capable of flying away with.

Let me tell you something, I’ve see them up close brother. I once had to fight one off and have the scar to prove it. A screaming eagle swooped down and tried to kill my pet warthog Pumba while I was taking him for his evening walk. Pumba was ok but I’ll never look at this photo the same.

I got to sit next to a golden eagle with just a chain link fence between us. Her talons were impressive but not quite that big. The beak and eyeballs were intimidating! It’s been well over 40 years and the memory is still vivid.
