The one that really irritates me is when the captions describes the music of the scene.
When the captions are written by someone who hates surprises
I hate reading ahead and spoiling shit for myself
It’s the ultimate vibe killer. You’re sitting there, fully immersed in the tension of a scene, and the screen suddenly screams [SAD OMINOUS MUSIC PLAYS] or [UPBEAT JAZZ INTENSIFIES]. It’s like the captions don’t trust you to have ears or a soul.
Props to those who put in things like “???” or “A man” in captions.
Me trying to act surprised after reading the spoiler 👁️👄👁️
Or any outcome, like a court ruling…that’s always fun.
