      Only partially true, the coverage should be greater (or at least you should have a chainmail underneath). Keep in mind that a cut to the inner thigh might hurt the femoral artery, thus killing you very quickly.

      no todas las armaduras era de cuerpo completo muchas utilizaban cotas de metal o telas gruesas para una mayor movilidad y reducir el peso, estas un ejemplo de estas parece tener un diseño original basado en armaduras remediables que permita mas movilidad en las articulaciones ya que si se fijas en varias de estas lo mas seguro que lleve una cota de metal por bajo con protecciones de metal de ahi que la parte de abajo donde mas movilidad ocupa no lleve pedazo de metal que estorben.

      todo estos sumado que ella no es un soldado razo que ande a pie sino a caballo ya que es la capitana

      There is a clear lack of understanding of the attachment points of the upper arm and leg armor. The upper arm and thigh armor is too long so too are the tassets. The tassets are also too far to the sides. The rondals are placed too far inwards and barely protect her arm pits. It’s redundant to have a gorget extende over the plackart and they would likely snag on each other while bending.

      As for her missing a chainmail skirt, in later periods if the horse and saddle had armor then it was occasionally ditched.

      Still Better then a lot of Hollywood attempts.

      I mean a maille skirt would cover that part pretty well and her revebrace/rerebrace/cannons need to be shortened and spaulders elongated, but overall it’s actually a functional suit of plate

      this is so real 😭 I’ll be watching something like “ok cool armor, makes sense” and then suddenly there’s that one design choice that just completely breaks the logic… and now I’m sitting there overanalyzing it like it’s a real-world engineering problem lol

      She’s not wearing her chainmail hauberk. That’s pretty much all that’s missing. Her skirt should have also front and back set of interlocking plates as well that can be removed for horseback.

      The funny thing is, it’s the most realistic anime armor I’ve seen in a long time.

      The details of her bottom are exaggerated, and the chest piece doesn’t even have breasts. Kudos.

      Only thing I can think of to add to it is a padded or chain skirt? Though I’m not sure of those were used on horseback
