Ehhhh the Thirty Years War is more defined by literally EVERYONE jumping in on the Germans, the Austrians were just as bruised ad the rest of the Empire after that horror. Plus the blame for the crisis can rest on more than just the Hapsburgs, cough cough the Palatinate.
