      Joan may not had led armies but she was a very good artillery commander

      But her real value is that she was basically a living saint.

      Her presence made her troops go berserk, especially when they see her get a bolt in the neck… and just shrug it off.

      I have heard that St Joan referred to the English as “les goddons,” a variant of “les goddams.” Apparently, the phrase “god damn” was extremely popular among the English troops.
