I wouldn’t take Indian news sources about Pakistan seriously at all (or vice versa)
There’s a reason that when treaties are made with different language versions they contain a provision stating which language version is the primary one.
This says nothing about the ancient terms being different from each source, just that both bragged about beating the other
Wasn’t this how the USA and the USSR covered the Cuban missile crisis? Both sides going “they totally blinked and we got what we wanted, good work everybody on fixing something that was totally their fault and we’re winning this non-war war.”
European colonial treaties with Africans were similar.
