These are so wholesome compared to what passes as “pranks” now
“But thr girl went out with me” …righttttt
They really put a lot of thought into this holiday back then. My husband told my 7 year old she didn’t have school today and quickly told her it was a joke… thats it.
These “jokes” are pretty mean spirited.
