    1. They will absolutely be at the clinic when its too late to do anything, and will absolutely blame the doctors for it.

    2. The sad part is this is way more common than you think. I volunteer to assist the end of privileged a lot and I run into people all the time that are running from a cancer diagnosis with BS solutions. This anti-intellectualism is certainly speeding up evolution but their children suffer so much.

      this ignorance kills people.

a good friend of mine, generally clever guy, whom i knew since i was a Baby (he was already adult at the time of my birth), later in life fell in with a christian lady who believed in alternative healing and faith healing. Then he got lung cancer and had her manage his treatment. She isolated him from other people and I think she took away his chance to live with that alternative healing nonsense.

At the time I was working in a large hospital doing cancer treatment research. Had he come to me I could have had him admitted instantly for cancer treatment.
I only found out about his cancer after the fact, since we were living in different countries.
Had it been me who got to him first or had he not lived with that woman, the outcome might have been very different. And that hurts.

    4. This is so sad, imagine all the people that died before moder medicine throw their lives away because the miracle workers”don’t feel natural enough”

Squamous cell skin cancer is one of the most deadly forms of cancer. If they’re recommending chemo and not just removing it, things are looking pretty grim. Sure, use the oil. But use it *with* the chemo. You’ll need every advantage

I have an alternate Facebook profile just for looking at shit like this. The anti vaxxer groups are nuts. They also push chemtrail nonsense and anti flouride trash as well. Of course, their kids are weaned on Mountain Dew and Little Debbie.

The Mlm/pyramid scheme ’expert’ who will tell someone in a vulnerable situation that their extra special super duper top of the line (meaning expensive) oils will do something better than proven treatments. These people need to be charged.

Maybe it’s me, but wouldn’t a legitimate medical professional say “I am a doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner…” not “functional medicine practitioner?”
I don’t even know what that means!

    10. Of course essential oils can help.

Essential oils may just help the body smell better in the coffin at the funeral, but that’s helping.

Darwinism by munchausen by proxy, she  isn’t asking for herself! What  a great friend…

    12. For Steve Jobs it was an alternative diet. For this denialist, essential oils. Cancer’s fine with both.
