If destroying power plants is a war crime then we’re really being pretty silly with the whole concept. It isn’t going to work to just outlaw war. This war is illegal under US law, and I’m not really sure why we’re trying to apply international law (a totally fictional concept, what are you going to do, put a country in international jail?) when we haven’t even applied our own law. The US needs to stop Trump, because the UN isn’t capable.

If this escalation is carried out, innocent Iranian civilians will suffer. Will we then expect attacks on our own infrastructure? While Iran may not have intercontinental missile capability, they may have sympathizers here in the US willing to cause damage. Are we really prepared for that?
just casually mentioning war crimes like it’s no big deal

Welp, it sounds like they’re about to turn the entire middle east into a warzone with an insane amount of refugees.

Come on you guys this is just 4D chess! He’s a real stable genius. He told them he’s attacking the power grid as a distraction so they move all of their defenses there while he bombs the schools.

If the US bombs Iranian power plants, I wouldn’t be surprised if Iranian hackers try to disrupt the US power grid or other energy related infrastructure as a way to retaliate.

Though not as malicious as trump, my father had the same way of explaining away failure. It didn’t matter what level of failure he always explained it away citing some unforeseen to him obstacle.

He is already a criminal and now he is doing war. Why are we surprised he threatened to do war-crime?

it’s time to think constructively. if former american presidents have immunity from prosecution under american law for the war crimes they commit, that means they’re now eligible for extradition. the question is which country should get to hold the war crimes trial, trump having committed war crimes in so many places.

When does the military step in and say no, this is illegal?
